PITTSBURGH, PA - The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office is seeking the assistance in their efforts in apprehending someone wanted for allegedly raping a child. Raymond Demus, 41 years old, from Wilkinsburg. Demus is wanted for two counts of Rape of a Child, two counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child, two counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, and two counts of Indecent Assault Person Less Than 13 years of Age. Demus, who was out on bond, was in criminal court yesterday and was offered a plea agreement of 15 to 30 years in jail. Demus, unhappy with the offer that he was given left the courthouse during a recess and did not return. A bench warrant was then issued for hiss arrest. Demus is known to frequent both the Lawrenceville and East Liberty area.
