PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Thomas Gordon III, 26 years of age from the Municipality of Monroeville and Ashley Lewis, 21 years of age from the Homewood neighborhood of the City of Pittsburgh.

Gordon was wanted on two criminal bench warrants for violating the terms of his probation/parole.   The warrants carried a variety of charges, including Burglary (27), Possession of a Firearm Prohibited, Accident Involving Death/Injury-Not Properly Licensed, Drive While Operator Privilege Suspended or Revoked and Not Yield at Roadway.  As part of the conditions of Gordon’s parole/probation, he was directed to keep in contact with his probation officer, which he failed to do.  Subsequently, two criminal bench warrants were issued on November 18, 2011 for his arrest.  Due to severity of Gordon’s charges, he was placed on the Sheriff’s Office “Most Wanted” website, as well as Comcast “Fugitive Files” On-Demand programming.

Last evening sheriff’s deputies received a phone call from a concerned Comcast viewer.  The tipster claimed that they knew the whereabouts of a fugitive featured on “Fugitive Files.”  Furthermore, the caller gave deputies an address in Homewood where they believed Gordon was residing.  This morning, deputies were led to a home in the 7300 block of Kelly Street.  After announcing themselves, deputies entered the home and located Gordon in a second floor bedroom.  He was apprehended without incident and lodged in the Allegheny County Jail, where he will await a hearing in regards to the violation of probation/parole.  Also found in the house was Kelly, who was wanted out of Venango County on a Domestic Relations warrant.  Lewis too was lodged in Allegheny County Jail where she will be lodged until she is taken to Venango County.
