PITTSBURGH, PA – Sheriff William P. Mullen announces the apprehension of Quentin Ingram, 25 years of age from the City of McKeesport.
On December 18, 2011, police were summoned to an address in the 600 block of South 5th Avenue in McKeesport. Authorities learned that multiple victims had been shot at this residence during a party. After interviewing a number of partygoers, authorities identified Quentin Ingram as the assailant. That evening, one man was pronounced dead, while seven others were being treated at several different hospitals for gun shot wounds related to this incident. On December 20, 2011, a warrant was issued for Ingram’s arrest with a host of charges including Criminal Homicide, Carrying Firearm Without A License, Aggravated Assault (7) and Recklessly Endangering Another Person (7). Sheriff’s deputies have been exploring Ingram’s whereabouts since the warrant’s issuance.
After weeks of investigating, sheriff’s deputies determined that Ingram was staying at a residence in the 900 block of Center Avenue in Versailles Borough. Deputies, along with Versailles Police, surrounded the complex and announced themselves repeatedly, with no response. As they attempted to make contact with residents inside the apartment, they ascertained that there were occupants inside of the apartment. At this point, deputies decided to breach the door. Once deputies made entry, Ingram screamed out from a bedroom that he was surrendering. Deputies located the fugitive and apprehended him without incident. Ingram was transported to Allegheny County Police’s Homicide Division for questioning regarding the December 18th incident.
